*24) IAI is robust ASCII protocol. Any controller capable of sending and receiving properly formatted ASCII strings according to IAI Protocol B definition and fully control robot remotely including direct position command, editing position table, jogging, etc. This is particularly useful for LabView integration, or integration with P.C. based controller running WonderWare, Visual Basic or Visual C applications, etc...
*25) All modes up to Half Direct, Full Direct is not supported. Full Direct indicates you are able to alter position/speed/accel and decel/positioning band and pushing current limit directly using numerical values. Hence there is no limit to the number of points that can be set.
*26) When used with the RoboNet Extension option you are able to achieve Full Direct mode since the fieldbus will be residing in the RoboNet Gateway and sending Modbus (ASCII) strings to the controller. There is no necessity to apply a separate fieldbus option for the controller if used in this manner.
