In the past, an air cylinder was used. However, safety circuit designing for emergency stops (residual voltage, inadvertent leaping out, etc.) and restoring procedures after emergency stops were very complicated.
The ELECYLINDER® has greatly simplified the recovery procedure from emergency stops.
