EC – Cutting Device for Automobile Air Conditioning Parts

A device for cutting automobile air conditioning parts that are blow-molded.

Previously, one air cylinder with a cutter was used to cut the parts. In order to increase production, it was operated at a high speed, thus producing cutting defects.

Recently ELECYLINDER® in a 2-axis configuration have been adopted to cut the parts from the both sides. The cutter stroke has been reduced by half.
With the shortened cycle time, the cutter speed can be reduced for better cutting quality.
As a result, defects have been eradicated.
