Note 1: When used with the RoboNet Extension option you are able to achieve Full Direct mode since the fieldbus will be residing in the RoboNet Gateway and sending Modbus strings to the controller. There is no necessity to purchase a fieldbus option for the controller.

Note 2: Full Direct indicates you are able to alter positon/speed/accel and decel/positioning band and pushing current limit directly using numerical values. Hence there is no limit to the number of points that can be set.

Note 3: IAI is robust ASCII protocol. Any controller capable of sending and receiving properly formatted ASCII strings according to IAI Protocol B definition and fully control robot remotely including direct position command, editing position table, jogging, etc. This is particularily usefull for LabView integration, or integration with P.C. based controller running WonderWare, Visual Basic or Visual C applications, etc…

Note 4: Users may define their own ASCII based protocol.

Note 5: See IAI Electronic Camming brochure for full details.

Note 6: For controllers supporting PLC Open or TIA motion command sets, IAI can integrate with these systems using STEP and DIRECTION, allowing full featured motion programming in accordance with IEC 61131-3

Note 7: CON EP, Ethernet-IP products are compatible with CIP IMPLICIT messaging only (Remote I/O mode) and not CIP EXPLICIT messaging (Messaging mode). Therefore, our products are compatible with Allen Bradley Logix controllers (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, SoftLogix) based upon RSLogix5000 only. Our products are not compatible with AB legacy products (MicroLogix, SLC500, Pico, or PLC5) based on RS500 or other operating systems.

Note 8: Available only for XSEL P/Q/PX/QX. EP option for XSEL does support both CIP Messaging and Remote I/O modes. Therefore, it is compatible with all Allen Bradley products capable of Ethernet-IP communications.

Note 9: Other fieldbus comptability when used with Fieldbus Gateway or through RoboNet Extension.
