Product Description
|
DS Systems are 1- and 2-axis pre-packaged systems. They provide simple point-to-point positioning for relatively light loads.
The ready-to-assemble system is very compact and very affordable, which makes it ideal for OEM applications. DS Systems are also ideal as retrofit positioners in existing systems - especially in small, tight spaces.

Series Features
|
DS Systems are available in three configurations:
- Single axis
- 2-axis cantilevered
- 2-axis gantry
The systems are composed of one or two DS Series actuators (which determine system capabilities) and DS-S-C1 controllers. Also included are brackets, cables, cable track and base frame.

Controller Features
|
When it comes to compact design, overall size and price/performance, nothing compares with the DS-S-C1 single axis controller. Its features are similar to our main line of SEL Controllers and include:
- CPU
- Driver
- User I/O
- External 24V DC power supply
- Memory for 1,000 steps of programming
- Positioning for up to 500 points
- 15 user inputs (standard)
- 6 user outputs (standard)
The DS Series is also now available with interpolated motion, using the more versatile SEL E/G or X-SEL controller. These SEL controllers may also control the 2-axis DS Systems.
