Corrections have been made on the following PDF pages of the ROBO Cylinder General Catalog:
Page 47 (RCP2-SS7R): The actuator specification table should show ‘Mc’ for the last moment spec. Page 129 / 315 (RCP2-RA10C/RCP2W-RA10C): Note 2 below the Actuator Specification Table, should read ‘(Note 2) See P493 for the graph of pushing force.’ Please also make sure to read the ‘Caution’ section on page 493 when choosing this actuator. Re: IAI’s view on the filed Patent Infringement lawsuit against IAI Corporation, Japan by Yamaha-Motor, Japan. Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (“Yamaha-Motor”) filed a patent infringement lawsuit against IAI Corporation (“IAI”) on June 3, in the Osaka District Court, Osaka, Japan. IAI has not infringed upon Yamaha’s patents. IAI’s robot controller and linear-motor single-axis robot was developed and based on IAI technology. The robot controllers and linear-motor single-axis robots have been produced and sold by IAI publicly in advance of patent filing by Yamaha-Motor. Above all, IAI products do not infringe upon Yamaha-Motor’s patent. IAI has made effort to explain the details of above facts to Yamaha-Motor, so that Yamaha-Motor would understand our view and position in this matter. Regrettably, due to the filling of the lawsuit by Yamaha-Motor, IAI has no choice but to make IAI’s position clear in court. As with Yamaha-Motor, the Intellectual property right is IAI’s core management resource and IAI will take a proper and necessary action with resolute stance, according to the law to defend IAI’s rights and position in this matter. |
